This was AMC;'s top of the line model! This article has nice color pictures and interesting history of all the models - 880, 990, 990H, DPL series in new convertibles, hardtops, sedans and Cross Country wagons. There are plenty of numerous pictures of prototypes never produced! Great pics of the new convertibles too!
